The PokerGonk Cup

Next season i reckon we should do a Cup style tournament where players will play each other once heads up, and the winner progressing to the next round.
This will be played aswel as the normal league games, but can be played at anytime aslong as there is another PokerGonk memeber there to deal and view it.
Each player could put in say £10 each at the start, and if we could get about 16 players up for it, that would be £160 in the pot, say £120 for the winner, £40 for 2nd? or take a bit out and buy a trophy aswel for the winner?
Would be quite good i rek! with me picking up the win obviously!

Like the sound of that - we have been meaning to do a HU tourney for ages but never got round to it.

I think we ought to intergrate our games a bit?

You guys are more than welcome to join in. I'll put the rules up asap. But it'll be a case of,
your drawn an opponent, and you organise with them when its most convenient to play, and the location you'll play.

If by intergrate, you mean joint host, then i'm sure we can organise something.

Played two games tonoght with teh lads, Crazy Pineapple and NLHE, won both! I should start buying a lotto ticket!!!

why dont we do this cup within the next few weeks? since the season isnt going to start for about another 2months........?

With enough support I reckon we can give thsi idea a go, as we dont need a common venue, each game can b played when its conveniant for the 2 heads up players.
